About Notion
At a glance: Notion is a productivity and communication app by Notion Labs, Inc. The latest version is 7.41.1 for Windows and 7.41.1 for macOS. Price: Free, with optional paid plans or features. Licence: Proprietary. Official website: notion.com.
Notion is an all-in-one workspace for notes, documents, wikis, tasks and databases. You build pages from flexible blocks and can turn lists into tables, boards and calendars — for personal notes or a whole company’s knowledge base.
The desktop app for Windows and Mac gives you Notion in its own window. You need a Notion account; the free plan suits individuals, while paid plans add team features and Notion AI.
Best for: Organising notes, projects and team knowledge in one flexible workspace.
Requires a Notion account; data is stored in Notion’s cloud.

Safety
Where these links come from
Versions and download addresses are read automatically from winget (Windows) and Homebrew (macOS), the public package catalogues used by millions of developers. We only show a link when it points to the developer’s own official domain, and we never host, repackage or bundle the files — your browser downloads them directly from the developer.
Check the file after downloading (optional)
Compare the SHA-256 checksum shown above with the one of the file you downloaded. If they match, the file is exactly the one published by the developer.
- Windows: open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run
Get-FileHash .\filename - Mac: open Terminal and run
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/filename

Notion: frequently asked questions
Is this the official Notion download?
Yes. The download buttons link directly to the developer’s own servers (desktop-release.notion-static.com). DownloadFrom.net does not host, modify or bundle Notion; we only list the official files and their SHA-256 checksums so you can verify them.
Which Windows file should I download?
For most PCs, choose the recommended 64-bit installer, current user only (.exe). Pick an ARM64 file only for Windows on ARM devices (for example Snapdragon laptops), and MSI packages if you deploy software for an organisation. To check your PC, open Settings → System → About and look at “System type”.
Apple Silicon or Intel — which Mac file do I need?
Open the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it shows “Chip: Apple M…”, download the Apple Silicon version; if it shows “Processor: … Intel”, download the Intel version.
Is Notion free?
Notion has a free plan for individuals. Paid plans add team collaboration features and more.
Does Notion work offline?
Notion can make selected pages available offline, but it is primarily a cloud app and syncs when you are online.
Notion or Obsidian?
Notion is cloud-based and collaborative. Obsidian stores notes as local Markdown files on your device.
