About HWMonitor
HWMonitor, from CPUID (the makers of CPU-Z), is a simple hardware monitoring program for Windows. It shows your PC’s main health sensors in one window: temperatures, voltages, fan speeds, power use, clock speeds and utilisation.
Each reading shows the current, minimum and maximum value, which makes it easy to check temperatures while gaming or under load. A paid HWMonitor PRO version adds remote monitoring and graphs.
Best for: A quick look at PC temperatures and fan speeds.
System requirements
- Windows: 32-bit (x86)

Safety
Where these links come from
Versions and download addresses are read automatically from winget (Windows) and Homebrew (macOS), the public package catalogues used by millions of developers. We only show a link when it points to the developer’s own official domain, and we never host, repackage or bundle the files — your browser downloads them directly from the developer.
Check the file after downloading (optional)
Compare the SHA-256 checksum shown above with the one of the file you downloaded. If they match, the file is exactly the one published by the developer.
- Windows: open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run
Get-FileHash .\filename - Mac: open Terminal and run
shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/filename
Help
HWMonitor: frequently asked questions
Is this the official HWMonitor download?
Yes. The download buttons link directly to the developer’s own servers (download.cpuid.com). DownloadFrom.net does not host, modify or bundle HWMonitor; we only list the official files and their SHA-256 checksums so you can verify them.
Which Windows file should I download?
There is one Windows download: the 32-bit installer (.exe).
Is HWMonitor free?
Yes. HWMonitor is freeware. HWMonitor PRO is a paid version with extra features.
HWMonitor or HWiNFO?
HWMonitor is simpler. HWiNFO shows far more sensors and detail, and offers logging and overlays.
What CPU temperature is too hot?
It depends on the processor. Check the maximum temperature (Tjmax) published by Intel or AMD for your model; sustained readings close to it mean cooling needs attention.
