About Greenshot

Greenshot is a free, open-source screenshot tool for Windows. It replaces the Print Screen key with quick capture of a region, window or the full screen, then opens an editor where you can annotate, highlight or blur parts of the image.

Captures can be saved, copied, printed, attached to email or sent to Office programs. Greenshot is lightweight and simple — a good choice if ShareX feels like too much.

Best for: Fast, annotated screenshots for documentation and support.
