About Minecraft Launcher

The Minecraft Launcher is the official app from Mojang Studios for installing and playing Minecraft on your computer. It manages both Minecraft: Java Edition and (on Windows) Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, plus spin-offs such as Minecraft Dungeons.

The launcher is free to download, but playing the full game requires buying Minecraft and signing in with a Microsoft account. The launcher also lets you choose game versions and install profiles.
