What we do and don’t host
We don’t store or host any media files. Our downloader looks up files on supported websites through their public interfaces and links to the original file on the source website. Our converters work only on files that visitors already have on their own device.
If a copyrighted work is hosted on another website without permission, the most effective step is to ask that website to remove it — once it is removed there, it can no longer be reached through our tools either. We will also block specific links in our tool on request.
How to send a copyright notice
Email downloadfromnet.info@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact link(s) used with our tool that you want blocked.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We review every complete notice and, where it is valid, block the reported links in our tool, usually within a few working days. We may contact you if we need more information. Notices that are incomplete or misleading may not be acted on.
Counter-notice
If you believe a link was blocked by mistake, email us with the link, an explanation, your contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was blocked in error.
